Productivity, Health, and Finance: My Journey
Last week was very productive for me, as I spent quite the time I needed to finish most of my important tasks on time, but I was doing it at the expense of my sleep. I stayed up way too late and woke up very early.
I am the kind of person who loves waking up early, as this is how I believe a productive day should start. So even if I sleep at 3 a.m., I always make sure to wake up as early as 5 a.m., and if the worst comes to play, then not more than 5:30 a.m.
The activity I do every morning after I wake up is to workout. I do home workouts and lift less weight than I did before. This is because I don't place priority on carrying weights, and I believe working out at home consistently is enough for me to build myself at a steady rate.
I have most often been working out on my legs, arms, chest, and most especially my stomach. My kinda has quite some amount of pot belly, although some people may consider my tommy flat to a certain extent, but I do not. I wish I could share my picture here, but I am a little bit shy about it.
My Diet And Finance
Also, I have been dieting and eating less than I usually eat. I am a foodie, and I love food. I usually eat almost every day, and this was the reason why I had a stomach in the first place. Now, I am getting used to fasting and not eating as much as I did. I feel a lot more in control, and it also helps save my finances.
Food was one of the things I spent the most on. I always buy food outside and spend up to 3 to 4 dollars a day on food, and before I know it, I don't have much money on me again, so I begin to spend from my savings.
I can say I don't literally have strong savings because I got really addicted to spending more and less, and I personally know this should not be the case. Since I am trying to work more on myself, I eat less often, as long as I do as much as is possible.
Also, setting small goals that are easy for me to achieve on my savings plans and building my portfolios
My Sleep Defect
Funny how I drafted away from the real point of why I started writing this post. I started to write to talk about how unnecessary it has been to sleep this week because I failed to give myself enough rest last week.
I have been sleeping as if I were drugged. At first, I slept through the whole day on Sunday. I woke up on Monday and tried working on something, but I found myself dozzing and could not be able to concentrate.
I have been trying to give myself enough sleep since Sunday, but ever since, if I try concentrating on something, before I know it, I am already dozing off. I seriously can't wait for the system to come back to normal, and I will be able to concentrate and be very productive again.
Mother Nature! Please release me.
