Victor & Valentino: Another series that is really worth watching (2019) Review [Eng - Esp]

Previously I talked about a cartoon style series on Cartoon Network that is really worth watching, which was the world of Creag, after giving my review based on that series I took the task of delving a little deeper into the programming of that channel, to see if there was something else to rescue that for me was worth it and surprisingly it was so the truth, this series of which I will talk today touches points and aspects that in my opinion are very striking, You see I am a person who has a passion and taste for mythology as such either from any country, and certainly there are mythological aspects of some countries that have taken more impact than others, however here is no exception because in this particular series takes as a basis and referential scope such aspects, to be more specific this series presents a conglomerate of Mesoamerican mythological aspects.

Such mythology and culture, as well as its ramification is something that I personally like very much, and as here you have the creative freedom to transform and modify such aspects to personal convenience and that go hand in hand with what you want to show, gives a very interesting aspect certainly at the mythological level which I feel is what for me has great weight in this series, and I feel that in turn should be given significant importance, unfortunately I only saw about 4 chapters in question in the course of these days, but they were enough to get my attention and have a well-structured basis before what I will formulate here in general, and if it also comes being another series of which should download and watch, so it will also go to the list, so this time I bring you Victor and Valentino.

Anteriormente hable sobre una serie al estilo cartoon partidaria de Cartoon Network que realmente vale la pena ver, la cual fue el mundo de Creag, después de dar mi reseña en base a esa serie me tome la tarea de profundizar un poco más en la programación de dicho canal, para ver si había algo más que rescatar que para mi valiera la pena y sorprendentemente fue así la verdad, esta serie de la cual les hablare el día de hoy toca puntos y aspectos que a mi parecer son muy llamativos, verán yo soy una persona que tienen una pasión y gusto por la mitología como tal ya sea de cualquier país, y ciertamente hay aspectos mitológicos de algunos países que han tomado más impacto que otros, sin embargo aquí no es la excepción ya que en esta serie en particular toma como base y ámbito referencial tales aspectos, para serles más concretos esta serie presente un conglomerado de aspectos mitológicos mesoamericanos.

Tal mitología y cultura, así como su ramificación de las mismas en lo personal es algo que me gusta mucho la verdad, y como aquí se tiene la libertad creativa para transformar y modificar tales aspectos a la conveniencia personal y que vallan de la mano con lo que se quiera mostrar, da un aspecto muy interesante ciertamente a nivel mitológico lo cual siento que es lo que para mi tiene gran peso en esta serie, y siento que a su vez se le debería dar una importancia significativa, desafortunadamente solo vi unos 4 capítulos en cuestión en el transcurso de estos días, pero fueron suficientes para llamar mi atención y tener una base bien estructurada ante lo que formulare aquí en general, y si también viene siendo otra serie de la cual debería descargar y ver, así que también ira a la lista, así que esta vez les traigo a Víctor y Valentino.

Victor and Valentino is considered an animated television series as well as broadcast by Cartoon Network, which was created by Diego Molano, the series was launched in broadcast on March 30, 2019 and consists of a total of 39 chapters to date with only 1 season (apparently it is planned to develop another) and said duration time for each chapter is approximately 11 minutes.

Víctor y Valentino es considerada una serie televisiva animada así como transmitida por Cartoon Network, la cual fue creada por Diego Molano, la serie fue lanzada en emisión el 30 de Marzo del 2019 y consta de un total de 39 capítulos hasta la fecha con solo 1 temporada (al parecer se tiene pensado elaborar otra) y dicho tiempo de duración por cada capítulo es aproximadamente de 11 minutos.

The story focuses on two brothers named Victor and Valentino who live with their grandmother in a town called monte macabro, a place not so quiet as they spend strange and supernatural situations, and every day is a new experience of adventure and discovery for them and the villagers.

La historia de centra en dos hermanos llamados Victor y Valentino los cuales viven con su abuela en un pueblo llamado monte macabro, un lugar no tan tranquilo ya que pasan situaciones de carácter extraño y sobrenatural, y cada día es una experiencia nueva de aventura y descubrimiento para ellos y los habitantes del pueblo.

As I mentioned in the introduction of this review, the strong point and that takes greater impact and meaning as a basis is linked to referential aspects and figures of a varied and conglomerate Mesoamerican mythology in this series, the difference is that here such deities or creatures not only manifest themselves directly as one believes is not so, they remain hidden or take a more neutral or unnoticed position and I realized it because there are deities and significant creatures that show qualities certainly linked to what they represent, or well that is what I came to interpret and it is at this point where the creative freedom of the directors or the creator of the series wanted to project it this way, perhaps much of these interactions or skills are only shown in a referential way in itself or as a wink for those who can differentiate or understand that feel more familiar with that culture, as such series is originally from Mexico or well that's my interpretation, certainly I could also be wrong but that's what I felt when I saw this kind of patterns.

Out of all this and leaving aside one of the most striking bases in my opinion, not only because I love it, since I have always liked this kind of aspects, when something related to mythology is involved and more if it is varied and beyond the creatures that manifest themselves in this place based on what happens in the chapters, I can say that the series also shows good values linked to family support, brotherhood and trust, tolerance and to deal with disagreements depending on what they are, beyond the entertainment factor if it leaves certain very interesting teachings, and that in my opinion has a good weight and are things that personally is in any medium should not be lost, now let's break down this series part by part starting with the animation.

With respect to the animation I have no complaints or disagreement really, has a simple style in general also showing a wide color palette mostly predominantly to warm colors, neutral and dark but mainly warm as much of the events shown here occur in a village and at first instance even at the geographical level is very interesting and striking, another aspect that in this area I liked a lot are the rural and symbolic aspects of mythological way, Another aspect that I liked a lot in this area are the rural and symbolic aspects of mythology, whether in languages and customs linked to that culture and as usually all this is exported and presented in a combination or Mesoamerican conglomerate and pre-Hispanic character is very striking to see so that one as a viewer, mainly those unlinked to these factors outside of Mexican origin may become interested or know a little more, at this point I have no complaints, good animation, simple and colorful and nothing uncomfortable from what I saw.

In relation to the setting, and as I certainly mentioned in the previous section a little of this, much of the adventures and events that occur in this series are presented in what appears to be a village, so at first instance we are shown a wide area also covered in its surroundings by vegetation and certainly rivers at the ends of the village, which go to the sea by logic should be so, Along with a very striking architecture and in my opinion agrádale with fairly traditional homes with obviously decorative cultural aspects very rooted in the country of origin of the series, in this section I have no complaints either, in itself being a very curious person by nature I learn even in a referential way even in points about their food, culture and mythological and mystical elements.

Personally and in conclusion it is a series that is worth the standards that Cartoon Netwoork has made, I feel that they did well, out of this there was no other series that called my attention in such a channel beyond those that already culminated and even continue to spend repeated chapters, so with this ends today's review I hope the reading has been to your liking and as always thank you for reading and get here, without more to say until next time.

Como ya mencione en la introducción de esta reseña, el punto fuerte y que toma mayor impacto y significado como base está ligado a aspectos referenciales y figuras de una variada y conglomerada mitología mesoamericanas en esta serie, la diferencia está en que aquí tales deidades o criaturas no solo se manifiestan de forma directa como uno cree no es así, se mantienen ocultas o toman una postura más neutral o desapercibida y me di cuenta de ello porque hay deidades y criaturas significativas que muestran cualidades ciertamente ligadas a lo que representan, pero sin salirse de su estado al pasar desapercibidas, o bueno es lo que yo llegue a interpretar y es en este punto donde la libertad creativa de los directores o el creador de la serie quisieron proyectarlo así, quizás gran parte de estas interacciones o habilidades solo se muestran de manera referencial en si o como guiño para aquellos, que puedan diferenciar o entender eso se sientan más familiarizados con dicha cultura, ya que tal serie es originaria de Mexico o bueno esa es mi interpretación, ciertamente yo podría también estar equivocado pero es lo que yo sentí al ver este tipo de patrones.

Fuera de todo esto y dejando de la lado una de las bases más llamativas a mi parecer no solo porque me encante, ya que de por si este tipo de aspectos siempre me ha gustado, cuando está de por medio algo relacionado a mitología y más si es variada y mas allá de las criaturas que se manifiestan en este lugar en base a lo que pase en los capítulos de turno, puedo llegar a decir que la serie también muestra buenos valores ligados al apoyo familiar, la hermandad y confianza, tolerancia y a lidiar con desacuerdos dependiendo de cuáles sean, más allá del factor de entretenimiento si deja ciertas enseñanzas muy interesantes, y que a mi parecer tiene un buen peso y son cosas que en lo personal sea en cualquier medio no se deben perder, ahora desglosemos esta serie parte por parte comenzando con la animación.

Con respeto a la animación no tengo algún tipo de queja o inconformidad realmente, tiene un estilo simple en general mostrando también una paleta de colores amplia en su mayoría predominantemente a colores cálidos, neutros y oscuros pero principalmente cálidos ya que gran parte de los acontecimientos que se muestran aquí ocurren en un pueblo y a primera instancia incluso a nivel geográfico se nota muy interesante y llamativo, otro aspecto que en esta área me gusto mucho son los aspectos rurales y simbólicos de manera mitológica, ya sea en lenguas y costumbres ligados a dicha cultura y como por lo general todo esto viene exportado y presentado de una combinación o conglomerado mesoamericano y de carácter pre hispánico es muy llamativo de ver así para uno como espectador, principalmente aquellos desligados a estos factores ajenos de procedencia mexicana pueda llegar a interesarse o conocer un poco más, en este punto no tengo ninguno queja, animación buena, simple y colorida y nada incomoda por lo que vi.

Con relación a la ambientación, y como ciertamente mencione en el apartado anterior un poco de esto, gran parte de las aventuras y acontecimientos que ocurren en esta serie se ven presentado en lo que parece ser un pueblo, así que a primera instancia se nos muestra una área amplia cubierta también en sus alrededores por vegetación y ciertamente ríos en los extremos del pueblo, que van al mar por lógica debería ser así, junto a un arquitectura muy llamativa y a mi parecer agrádale con hogares bastante tradicionales con obviamente aspectos culturales decorativos muy arraigados al país de origen de dicha serie, en este apartado no tengo tampoco ninguna queja, de por si al ser una persona muy curiosa por naturaleza aprendo así sea de manera referencial incluso en puntos sobre su comida, cultura y elementos mitológicos y místicos.

En lo personal y en conclusión es una serie que vale la pena para los estándares que ha hecho Cartoon Netwoork siento que les salió bien, fuera de esto no hubo otra serie que llamase mi atención en tal canal mas allá de las que ya culminaron y aun siguen pasando capítulos repetidos, así que con esto termina la reseña del día de hoy espero que la lectura haya sido de su agrado y como siempre gracias por leer y llegar hasta aquí, sin más que decir hasta la próxima.
