Very first laps on track with Renault Clio Rally5 (onboard video)

Hi, friends!

Where to find better place for a first drive in anger then on the racing track where you have an off road zones if something goes wrong?! It is difficult to find some place better then this. That's why we chose not to go on the rally special stage for the first test because it's all full of dirt and we are still learning that car.

I must say that Renault Clio Rally5 behaves much more neutral then my old Citroen C2 R2 Max which is the wildest car I've ever drove in my life. I know the reason for this. It is because of the shorter wheel base and Citroen just turns in a moment and you have a spin. That's it.

We decided to start easier until we will know the car and the balance of it. I didn't shift in a higher gears on the high speed corners because I didn't want to go off. But after a three or four laps we started to go faster because I realized that the car behaves very neutral which is a great thing for the machinery with limited-slip differential (LSD).

Anyway, this was a very ppsitive experience and I can tell you that I understand the car very good and it suits me much more then the old Citroen.
