Onboard rally video of the day - Mikkelsen with Škoda Fabia Rally2 at ERC Rally de Fafe Portugal 2021

Andreas Mikkelsen revealed today in the latest episode of his vlog that he changed the approach to the last three rallies and that brought him and his co-driver Eliot Edmondson three wins straight.
He said that he works less then before because he was analyzing onboard videos from the recce and the past of the event too much. OK, that brought his less mistakes but he was too much tired in the morning when he had to drive on the special stages to compete.
Now he prepares whole job before the rally and during the rally he is much more relaxed, sleep on time, wake up before the alarm etc.
I would say that this is the best approach because if you are not sleeping before the rally, you can't drive properly.
I just noticed another thing about his new co-driver Eliot Edmondson. This young fellow has 136 rallies behind him and he is only 27. Man, that's some number. I admire him in positive way, of course.
When watching this onboard video from the latest ERC rally called Rally de Fafe in Portugal, you can see that crews are driving through the mus because it was raining heavily and that kind of weather suits Scandinavians the best because it's raining there often. Mikkelsen won, of course, but Spaniard and Mikkelsen's friend Dani Sordo pushed him hard in his newly homologated Hyundai i20 Rally2 car.
The problem for Sordo were not enough competitive tors from Indian brand MRF Tyres. But Sordo is a top driver who can pull maximum from every opportunity and that's the case in every rally he enters.
Sordo also had some mechanical problem with the steering rack and in the end he rolled and that was the end of his rally.
Watch Mikkelsen's onboard rally from the muddy surface and watch how he bounce his Škoda Fabia Rally2 in style. Guys from Toksport (Germany) must be delighted, because we are talking about three wins in the row.
