Huttunen officially gets Ford Puma Rally1 for WRC Rally Finland 2022

Hi, friends!

Finnish young gun Jari Huttunen sees some light at the end of the tunnel because, after he left Hyundai Motorsport just before the end of last season and turned to semi-works M-Sport Ford to do WRC Rally Monza in a WRC2 machinery which he won also, this year he was a part of an official M-Sport Ford squad with his WRC2 car being with their top Rally1 class in the service park.

From three outings this year, he was at the podium two times (plus that win from Monza 2021). That was good enough for the M-Sport Ford team bosses to give him a drive for his native WRC Rally Finland (as I already wrote a month ago).

This will be a big boost for Jari because he is in ages when he has to have a real chance of showing who he is. Well done.

He will have a full day test with Puma Rally1 in Estonia while he will be with Fiesta WRC2 machinery competing in the same country.

I think that top 7 result is very possible for the first time with the car, but only of he stays on the road without shunt or some stupid overdrive mistake.
