Documentary rally video of the day - Group A vs WRC cars

avatar

Hi, friends!

It is very interesting that none of these two rally classes don't exist at the top of rallying in the World. Group A was forgotten at the end of 2001 after Mitsubishi introduced their Lancer WRC. They were the last works team to make a bridge from Crohp A into WRC class because they still had Group A Lancer at the start of that 2001 year and all the other teams introduced WRC class cars in 1997 when this class was made as a new premium class in the World Rally Championship.

If you ask me, I liked Group A rallying more and I can't explain myself why. Maybe because Lancia Delta HF Integrale is from that time.

Subaru was the first manufacturer to dominate the class although Mitsubishi was still winning driver's Championships with their Group A car in the early days of WRC class.

It was diffbut very interesting time then today's time is and the video I bring to you is really worth of watching.

Please enjoy... :)
