Breen tested new Ford Puma Rally1 2022 on gravel

Hi, friends!

Man, this new hybrid M-Sport Ford Puma Rally1 car is just a beast. It's strong, powerful and agile as you can see from the video from the test.

The test was somewhere in Spain just after WRC Catalunya Rally Spain has finished and M-Sport Ford's new signing revealed that the car is SAVAGE!

It has the same evolution of the engine from the current generation of the World Rally Cars which has around 400bhp and with hybrid power unit, which power won't be available all the time, will have around 500bhp maximum.

The news is that there won't be that super aero which current cars have and we can see that on the video. The new car also doesn't have electronic central differential, just mechanical.

It also a five gear sequential gearbox (just as I have in my Citroen C2 R2 Max) and before it was a six speed paddle shifter. FIA brought this just to reduce the price of the new cars and to be more available to the privateers.

We already know the price of the new Rally1 cars and FIA revealed that the new cars can't cost more then 500 000€. Well, that is the price without the spare parts and you probably need one more car in spare parts.

Well, everything now is the phase of testing but in just three months all those prototypes will be on the special stages of Monte Carlo Rally2 2022.

Craig Breen is giving his best on the test as you can see from the video of their gravel testing in Spain.

Enjoy...
