Holozing Fan Art | Forest Male Healer | Poison

Hello, Holozing Community! It's been a while since my last post here. Today's art piece is inspired by Ichikawa of Kaiju No. 8. Episode 1 just aired, and I find this anime interesting because of the action scenes with a little bit of comedy. Anyhow, this fan art is for a Forest Male Healer with an attribute of poison. It has a gas mask to counter the effects of poison from the creatures that it will summon, and the suit was inspired by Kaiju No. 8.

For this fan art, I used Sketchbook for Android and the following outlines the step-by-step process involved in creating this fan art.

For the first layer, I created a rough sketch of the character before creating the outline. The gas mask was supposed to have a spider web design, and I hope that you can see the resemblance. The gas mask is connected to the oxygen tank at the back. And the Holozing logo was then placed in the breast plate armor. After being satisfied with its traits, I then created the line art.

I then applied the flat colors on a separate layer and also created the background on another layer. Since Sketchbook for mobile has no functionality to increase the thickness of the line, what I did was I created another layer and fill it up with solid color using the lasso. I then used the blurr brush to expand the area and then fill it up again with solid color.
