My Actifit Report Card and Update: October 18 2021

Hi Actifitters,

I hope everyone had a great weekend and a decent week so far. I've still been keeping busy around the place, seems like there is always something to do. I was back in the garden planting shrubs, bushes, and trees. Digging lots of small holes (more than 60) can be quite tiring and time consuming. The gardens, front and back, should look good once the plants grow a bit bigger. I'm still trying to get the grass to grow. I normally have the opposite problem. I hope to get some growth soon because winter is on it's way.

Thinking of winter, we could be heading towards a really rough winter. There is a possibility of food shortages with disruptions to the supply chain and possible lockdowns. We are supposed to be done with lockdowns in the UK but I doubt that is the case. Winter flues and colds are likely to hit those with weaker immune systems very hard. The health system in the UK (NHS) is in a bad way. There are shortages of both doctors and nurses. There is a high chance the system will be overrun with patients. Now or any time during the winter will not be a good time to fall sick.

As I was busy again in the week, I only had time to write one post. This time I wrote about Australia. Sadly I wrote it with a heavy heart. It pains me to see Australia fall into a dystopian nightmare. People have been stripped of most of their freedoms in name of protecting them from a virus that has barely reached their shores.

The post briefly describes what is happening in Australia. I also add my own experiences in Australia and explain how Australia has been on its current path for many years. The biggest surprise to me is how quickly it became as bad as it is. I'm glad I left when I did. I also discuss how Australia might be the model the rest of the world could be following. It is a scary thought but it is possible if we just sit back and tolerant whatever they (Government and friends) through at us. I strongly recommend you give the post a read.

That wraps up this Actifit Report and Update. I am working on another post about Covid-19. This time I am questioning the success of the pandemic from the perspective of the establishment. I should also have my next Buying and Selling game contest up before my next Actifit Report.
