Día 4 - "Hive Around The World" | Here's to my life, celebrating my birthday with a cup of coffee

Greetings, friends on Hive and this wonderful community. I hope you are all well and that your lives are filled with good health and good coffee. Today, June 6, is a very special day for me because it's my birthday, and I couldn't help but share my first thoughts of the day.

I had a very anxious night, waking up every few minutes, and it felt like a long night. I didn't sleep well, but I still got up at 6 a.m. When I opened my eyes, I took a deep breath and thanked God for the opportunity to have lived these years, to be with my loved ones, and to feel good. This time, I didn't feel as spiritual or connected as other days, I guess because of the bad night.

For several years now, I've been trying to do different things on my birthday, and for today I had planned to go to the gym to exercise 🤣😁 because it's a new habit I picked up a few months ago, and also to get my hair done thanks to a gift I received yesterday. So this day began with different intentions. The only thing that doesn't change on my birthday or any other day of the year is my morning ritual of drinking my cup of coffee.

Coffee is part of my culture, and although my parents are from different countries, they both share a love of coffee. It is our daily beverage that we consume twice a day, every morning religiously when we wake up and in the afternoons or evenings. Coffee represents the beginning of a productive day in my family culture, and in my social culture, it represents a gesture of kindness every time we offer coffee to a friend who visits us, to a person we have just met, a way to rest from the daily grind.

Coffee is so important in my culture that, without fear of being wrong, I can say that a house may lack daily food, but not coffee. Many homeless people say they live on coffee and cigarettes, and I believe them.

Today I wanted to leave forever on the blockchain how I woke up on my 46th birthday, without filters and with a freshly awakened face, with my magical coffee cup that is black, but when something hot is poured into it, it always changes color and turns white with the Hive logo and letters. This cup was a birthday gift to myself three years ago, and today it continues to make me happy every morning.

There are only a few hours left until my birthday is over. There was no cake or party, but there was coffee when I woke up and a delicious sweet bread for dinner. Thank you, God, for coffee every day.

Saludos amigos hive y de esta grandiosa comunidad, deseo que estén bien y que en sus vidas nunca falten la salud ni un buen café. Hoy 6 de junio es un día muy especial para mí porque es mi cumpleaños y no podía dejar de expresar mis primeros pensamientos del día.

Pase una noche muy ansiosa, me despertaba a cada momento y sentí que había sido larga, no dormí bien, pero igual me levanté a las 6 a.m, al abrir mis ojos respiré profundo y agradecí a Dios la oportunidad de haber vivido estos años, de estar con mis seres queridos y sentirme bien, esta vez no me sentí tan espiritual ni conectada como otros días, supongo que fue producto de la mala noche.

Desde hace algunos años, intento hacer cosas diferentes en el día de mi cumpleaños y para hoy tenía planificado ir al gimnasio a hacer ejercicio 🤣😁 porque es un nuevo hábito que adquirí hace unos meses y también arreglarme el cabello gracias a un regalo que recibí ayer. Así que este día comenzó con propósitos diferentes, lo único que no cambia en mi cumpleaños ni los demás días del año es mi ritual de las mañanas de tomar mi taza de café.

El café es parte de mi cultura y aunque mis padres son de países diferentes, ambos tienen en común el amor por el café. Es nuestra bebida diaria que consumimos dos veces al día, todas las mañanas de forma religiosa al despertarnos y en las tardes o noches, el café representa en mi cultura familiar el inicio de un día productivo, y en mi cultura social representa un gesto de amabilidad cada vez que ofrecemos café a un amigo que nos visita, a una persona que acabamos de conocer, una forma de descansar de la jornada diaria.

El café es tan importante en mi cultura que, sin miedo a equivocarme, digo que en una casa puede faltar el alimento diario, pero no café. Muchas personas en situación de calle, indigentes, dicen que viven a base de café y cigarros y les creo.

Hoy quise dejar para siempre en la blockchain como amanecí en mi cumpleaños número 46, sin filtros y con una cara de recién levantada, con mi taza de café mágica que es de color negro, pero cuando le cae algo caliente de costumbre siempre es café cambia de color y se vuelve blanca con el logo y letras de Hive, esta taza fue un autorregalo de cumpleaños hace 3 años, hoy sigue haciéndome feliz cada mañana.

Faltan pocas horas para que terminé mi día de cumpleaños, no hubo torta ni fiesta, pero sí café al despertar y en la cena con un rico pan dulce. Gracias Dios por el café de cada día.
