Quality time with my older nieces and nephews

This weekend I was at my brother's house for my niece's birthday and I decided to dedicate a few hours of the day I arrived to share with her and my other 13 year old nephew, because sometimes I have very little time to share with them because we live in different cities and because younger children often require a little more attention.

Este fin de semana estuve en casa de mi hermano por el cumpleaños de mi sobrina y decidí dedicar unas horas del día que llegue para compartir con ella y mi otro sobrino de 13 años, pues con ellos a veces tengo muy poco tiempo para compartir porque vivimos en ciudades diferentes y porque los niños más pequeños muchas veces requieren un poco más de atención.

We went to the mall to see what we could find to do, there were not many options but I saw a small park that is for all ages and has spaces to jump, climb and even play table field hockey.

Fuimos al centro comercial para ver que podíamos encontrar para hacer, no habían muchas opciones pero vi un parque pequeño que es para todas las edades y tiene espacios para saltar, trepar e incluso jugar hockey de mesa.

At first my oldest nephew wasn't too convinced to go in and play on the trampolines, because 13 year olds feel too big, but then he got into the spirit and played a lot and they both enjoyed it a lot.

Al principio mi sobrino mayor no estaba muy convencido de entrar a jugar en los trampolines, por eso de que a los 13 años se sienten muy grandes, pero luego se animó y jugo muchísimo y ambos disfrutaron un montón.

For me it is important to create memories like these with them and that they feel that the time I dedicate to them is of quality and that they feel accompanied by their aunt as much as possible.

Para mi es importante crear recuerdos como estos con ellos y que sientan que el tiempo que les dedico es de calidad y se sientan acompañados por su tía en la medida de los posible.
