Chirply says hello! (Holozing fanart)

Hello guys!

I'm back with a new fanart to share with you guys. I almost gave up on this one because it wasn't really working for me when I started painting it. The heat from the hot weather was frying my brain too haha and maybe that's why I struggled a lot. I was able to finish it just now because we now have rain, yay! Finally, The atmosphere is cold enough for me to do my thing with ease. This is how it turned out. I hope you guys like it :)

The Process

• Made a rough sketch using this pose reference from Pinterest.

• Made a clean lineart and painted the base colours.

• Started working on his coat

• Finished shading his coat and started working on his black top

• After I was down with the shading on the top I moved on to painting his skin. I also tested some highlights on his black top.

• Painted his hair and eyes at this point. Removed his smile with visible teeth because after painting it I didn't like it.

• Started working on Chirply at this point.

• Shaded him according to the source of light.

• Made a simple green background and painted rim lights on their bodies.
