Deep cleaning / Limpieza profunda

Every time the year is close to ending, I usually do a thorough review of the things I have, to clean the space and especially to separate what is already deteriorated to dispose of and what I no longer use to give it another function if possible. This is something that many people do at this time and that apart from ordering the place where we live helps us feel lighter.

Cada vez que el año está cerca de terminar, suelo hacer una profunda revisión de las cosas que tengo, para limpiar el espacio y sobre todo separar lo que ya está deteriorado para desecharlo y lo que ya no uso para darle otra función si es posible. Esto es algo que hacen muchas personas en esta época y que aparte de ordenar el lugar donde vivimos nos ayuda a sentirnos más ligeros.

I always start with the closet, which is where I keep more objects: clothes, accessories, shoes, my camping equipment and a large etc... These images are my entry for the @monochromes #monomad contest.

I like to take everything out, to see it there exposed in a great disorder that little by little, piece by piece I review and classify, deciding whether or not to continue with me.

Me gusta sacar todo, verlo allí expuesto en un gran desorden que poco a poco, pieza por pieza voy revisando y clasificando, decidiendo si sigue conmigo o no.

With the library I do the same, I put all the books on the floor, I dust them off one by one, I check them to determine their fate and then I clean the shelves.

Con la biblioteca hago lo mismo, bajo todos los libros al suelo, les sacudo el polvo uno por uno, los reviso para sentenciar su destino y luego limpio los estantes.

Deep cleaning takes me all day, I'm exhausted but very happy, it's like a ritual with which you feel that new possibilities are opened.

La limpieza profunda me lleva todo el día, quedo agotada pero muy contenta, es como un ritual con el que sientes que se abren nuevas posibilidades.

By the time I have finished it's getting dark and when I look out the window I think that perhaps in those buildings many more people are doing the same as me.

Ya cuando he terminado está atardeciendo y al mirar por la ventana pienso que quizás en esos edificios mucha más gente está haciendo lo mismo que yo.
