This winter is coming on slowly, but things are still blooming in mid November!
Normally we have a hard freeze in October here. This freeze heralds the arrival of winter, with daytime temperatures in the 50s, but today was 20 degrees warmer.
Here is what winter looks like here in November, in full bloom!
The white on this compound blossom really pops:
Started here because I like this flower head.
This one is the brightest red color for the day:
This pot was on a Lady's front porch, but I was able to expand it large enough to include here!
The contrast is high on this yellow cone flower:
This is useful as an herbal, being a cousin to echinacha; and can be used the same way.
Here is a cluster of yellow lilies:
Also notice the tiny white flowers underneath these lilies, sometime the smallest flowers are the most interesting.
This rose swirls with multiple colors:
The colors blend slowly across the entire bloom here, a most attractive mixture!
Delicate pink roses here:
Very uniform pink, and 3 inches across...a substantial blossom for sure!
This deep red beauty smelled wonderful!
This was the one I spotted first, and walked across the street for this picture!
This rose looks like it's been airbrushed:
This looks like a cross between a red, and a white rose.
This is a delicate lily flower:
There was a bee here, but I couldn't catch her in a picture, sorry
These delicate white flowers are wild flowers:
These were in the grass, and not a flower bed. A small wonder for certain!
This compound flower head is on a bush:
This had been around it too, and each individual flower looks like a trumpet. 🎺
This Daisy is an explosion of color:
The concentric circles of colors, draws the eye towards the center of this flower!
This flower is feathered yellow to the outside:
This is a stunning canary yellow flower.
Yellow, orange, and a brown center drew me in:
For some reason, this one reminds me of a Japanese paper umbrella. What do you think?
Purple pink zinnia here:
I have always liked these flowers, because they are 3D. The bloom is spherically shaped, and I find myself wanting to hold it.
Pretty in pink:
This flower looks kind of like a hibiscus flower, but I'm not sure what it is.
It is s interesting that the MSM is pushing a very harsh winter, because of man made global warming...err...global warming...Umm...climate change; can anyone follow their constant changes to their scripts? So now man made global warming will make winter much colder, this just makes zero sense!
Now, they have again missed the mark, is anyone surprised that they are wrong Again? It would be a bigger story, IF they were ever right....
It's great to see the bloom in winter!
It is surprising, but I liked it too!
