The fifth Sunday in October brings the homeless meal this year.

October 31st will be the perfect storm this year! We will feed the homeless, and then pass out sugar to the 'goblin' children.

This is what our new location looks like:

This was our volunteers last month, they impress me every time!

Setup is where it all started:

It is always like an ant hill while we set up, but the volunteers have done this for so many years; that from chaos comes order.

We will serve chili, macaroni and cheese, beef stew, buttered mashed carrots, mashed potatoes, chicken stew, corn bread, and deviled eggs.

Plus whatever desserts the ladies make, and we always have so my e food show that we don't plan for.

We also have a separate group that does clothing. They will be giving out blankets in quantity, because we had a cancer center close, and they gave us all their linens. It will keep them warm, if the RINO mayor doesn't steal them again!

The hansom gentleman at the water cooler is an Elder from my Church:

I asked him to come and see what we do, several years ago. He has not missed a single feeding since!

We are pretty spoiled at this new location, and they even allow us to plug the roasters into their electric power, So we don't have to set up the canopies or generators! Makes the feed much easier....
