Nice picture! Beautiful bird.

There are a lot of bird species as the lake is Large (500,000 surface acres) and was man made in 1960. I'm not moved yet, but it is closer now.

It is the only place I have heard bucks fighting over a doe. My place is only 1.5 acres, but I have seen 9 deer on that property. I will add a feeders, so she can watch the deer and hummingbirds. Momma has already told me the local deer are off limits, LOL. But there are a lot of them on the Corp of engineers land around the lake.

Sunday we feed again, and I will make spaghetti and garlic bread. I will need to figure out something to cook to go with it.

I just found you post on your charity work, you are Busy!

🤠😁🐝

Wow, those lakes will indeed make for excellent nature and wildlife shots.
So when will you then be moving there?

1.5 acres is a very nice and manageable property, as some good friends of mine also moved to a place in NY after their retirement and they are doing many great things on the property.

He is also a font of information on how to successfully manage and create income streams from various activities on the place.
His tag is @thebigsweed and his wife is @farm-mom so go and have a look at their posts.

We normally add minced meat to spaghetti, as it adds a nice meaty flavor.

Oh yes, we are busy and you can also see more of our charity posts on my alt account @combination

Cheers and !BEER

Thanks, I will go find them! The lake is s a hydroelectric power lake, also used for flood control. All the land close to the lake is Corp of Engineers land which is public use land. It will make my 1.5 acres look like 100 for survival purposes.

You other account sounds great, I'll go look there too. The photo opportunities are huge, but I'll need a better camera for some of them.

Some of the homeless are vegetarians, but I have some textured vegetable protein (tvp) that I can add for flavor and texture. They really love it, but some complain if I add mushrooms. I will cook about 10 gallons of spaghetti 🍝, and they will eat it all. The other advantage of the TVP is s that it doesn't spoil like meat, so they can take some for the next day.

Be Blessed!

🤠🍝💙

My pleasure, and I hope that you will like what you see when you go and look.
We don't have tvp over here, unless they call it something else. We do have soya products, but the people don't like the taste of it.

Cheers and thanks.

TVP works well in chili and spaghetti where the sauce carries the flavor. It has good texture, and a decent taste, and they love the chili and spaghetti I make with it. I buy it in 100 pound bags, and it will store indefinitely.

I am pushed badly for time for the next five days or so.
