I met my new neighbors at the rental house.

I've been preparing my rental house by downtown Tulsa to rent it again. My renter lost his job for refusing the vaccine, and had to leave.

He had been there for 7 years, and was night manager where he worked. The 'mandate' is designed to wipe out our economy, and it's doing its job as planned!

Working on the house, I met my new neighbors:

This one talks a lot:

He is pretty cute, and I gave him a small elm tree; now I'm his best friend!

He likes to climb:

I suspect he climbs on most anythng, most goats do....

This one saw red feed that 'other' goat:

Yes, I found her a small elm tree too....

She liked the tree:

She has yellow eyes, and wants constant petting!

I was surprised, since this is only a couple of miles from downtown Tulsa. I didn't expect barnyard animals, but they are nice little beasts!

I wouldn't pick goats, because the you are difficult to contain. They have a new 6 foot chain link fence around the perimeter, so they have the same problem!

But they are cute neighbors....

🤠💙🤕

😂 what a nice and busy neighbors you have. Goats are very stubborn too, they can test your patience to the limit😂

They like to eat my pruning work, so we will get along fine.

Come on down... I'll put you to work!

Today we worked hard. Resealed the front window bank of 3 windows and painted them. We rebuilt a window sash, repaired one of two places damaged on the carpet, repaired the blower on the central heater, rebuilt the toilet tank plumbing, repaired the paneling in the dining room, ordered new registers for 3 rooms, fixed a stuck drawer in the kitchen, lifted three damaged tiles in the dining room, set off poison bombs because we saw some spiders, and acid etched the back porch concrete so paint will stick.

Busy day....

The new renter will move in this weekend.

🤕🤠💗👍

It will be a good bump to my income, so it's good that I have a new renter this fast! I don't make anything if it's empty....

Sorry about that, hope it works out well. Is there anything that's lacking that is making it take long?

A lot of the work is tedious, and takes a lot of time. I just have to keep fixing one thing at a time, until it's finished. That keep things from getting boring I guess....

Got several things done and one major one started. The floor in the dining room was showing it's age, so we stripped it totally. Tomorrow I'll get new tiles and resurface that room.

Buy good product, and put it down properly; and it will hang in with you for decades. I bought new tiles today, and we stripped the old floor yesterday!

I had to delay her to the first of the month, too much left to do! She's fine with that, she isn't ready either.

Goats freak me out. I don't really understand this craze lately to keep them as pets. Seems like it would be a tough job

No pets here, this is the third set...they eat them.
