Prismologist Battle - Take 2

I submitted the Prismologist battle earlier in the week for the @Splinterlands weekly battle challenge.

Today I tried the exact same deck under different rule set, Cripple, which quickly negates any heal for my endurance set up

• Each time a monster gets hit by Cripple it loses one max health, very quickly I would not be able to heal and self-heal anymore

The learning here is Void Armor + Armor + Repair are invaluable

As long as armor can continue to be repaired, the tank remains durable despite sitting at 1 health

Void Armor ensure the armor absorbs magical damage without going straight to take out the last health

The Grandmaster Rathe Advantage

Following the similar theme, I encountered an opponent using roughly the same deck

• The opponent uses 2 healers for the Taunt off-tank
• The opponent also picked Dragon Summoner Camila Sungazer to reduce my melee attack by 1
• Also notable is his Coeurl Lurker is 1 level lower, without Thorns
• Overall, my melee units are handicapped by -1 attack and Blind from Spirit Hoarder (higher chance to miss physical attacks)

• Without Void Armor, and any armor, enemy Coeurl Lurker was taken out quickly, then the rest is a breeze

BONUS BATTLE - #Runi in action

I don't typically use Fire Splinter...

• But with the Reverse Speed rule set, and no access to Earth, Fire is my next obvious choice
• Fire and Earth are my slowest splinters

• Look at how quickly the Wave Brood got taken down by Sneak and Opportunity
• My Spirit Hoarder took an honorable hit and that was the end #lol
• 1 speed tank Living Lava did not take any damage from 4 speed Deep Lurker, think about the difference a 3-speed differential makes
• Doctor Blight makes sure the Baakjira does not self-heal
• Due to Silence, my magic attacks does absolutely nothing this battle
