Hello Afri-tunes family, welcome to #56 of our weekly contest promoting and celebrating African tunes on the hive Blockchain. Happy new month to everyone, this month shall be favourable for us all 🙏. For this week's entry, I decided to go with the secular song as suggested in the community for week #56. This song is Forever by Ghanaian R&B and Afro-fusion singer Gyakie. Forever is a love song that reassures partners of their unwavering love, support and commitment to each other. The song is sung mainly in English, pidgin English and a little bit of Twi (Ghanaian language). It has a really lovely melody and catchy hook. Forever is the song that made Gyakie really famous as it enjoyed massive airplays and lead the charts in Ghana, Nigeria and Kenya...it's unarguably her biggest song till date

When you're head over heels in love with someone, you wouldn't mind doing anything for them which includes going the extra mile just to please them, and make them happy. You'd always come through for someone you really love and care about, just the thought of them gives you goosebumps all over, you feel so loved and reminisce on the beautiful moments you've both shared 😍...You want no one else and you don't mind going all the way with this person till the end. All he needs do is pop that question...and you'd be glad to say I do☺️. Love is most beautiful when it's pure, honest and kind. You'd do anything for this person, you'd fight for their love because you don't want to lose them. Your mind accepts them totally and your heart beats for them, and you just can't imagine life without them. I do hope you all enjoy 🎧 my cover of this beautiful record. Feliz nuevo mes a todos, este mes será favorable para todos nosotros 🙏. Para la entrada de esta semana, decidí ir con la canción secular sugerida en la comunidad para la semana #56. Esta canción es Forever del cantante ghanés de R&B y afrofusión Gyakie. Forever es una canción de amor que asegura a las parejas su amor, apoyo y compromiso inquebrantables entre sí. La canción se canta principalmente en inglés, inglés pidgin y un poco de twi (idioma ghanés). Tiene una melodía realmente encantadora y un gancho pegadizo. Forever es la canción que hizo realmente famoso a Gyakie, ya que disfrutó de reproducciones masivas y lideró las listas de éxitos en Ghana, Nigeria y Kenia... es indiscutiblemente su canción más importante hasta la fecha.

Cuando estás perdidamente enamorado de alguien, no te importaría hacer nada por ellos, lo que incluye hacer un esfuerzo adicional solo para complacerlos y hacerlos felices.
