Hello Afri-tunes community, welcome to week #107 of our weekly concert here on the hive Blockchain. I trust we all are doing okay. For this week I'd be performing a song by Nigerian singer-songwriter and record producer "Omah Lay" called " Holy Ghost". This record was released late last year (2023) and was an instant hit when it dropped, topping several charts in the country. I have chosen to perform this song as it's really groovy and would make you wanna move your body 💃🕺. The song title is quite controversial as it has nothing to do with the meaning of the song. Holy Ghost is actually an entity in the trinity which is spiritual for Christians, so having such a song title for a secular song raises a lot of controversy and questions by listeners. Well the song has got absolutely nothing to do with the gospel. The song basically Just gingers one to dance, talking about a lady that sticks with him through thick and thin, giving him happiness through out that phase, and she comes through for him in the die minute. She energises him and boosts his confidence. Love they say is blind, but he sees her and all she does to support him, to improve him. Hola comunidad de Afri-tunes, bienvenidos a la semana n.° 107 de nuestro concierto semanal aquí en Hive Blockchain. Confío en que todos estemos bien. Esta semana estaría interpretando una canción del cantautor y productor discográfico nigeriano "Omah Lay" llamada "Holy Ghost". Este disco se lanzó a finales del año pasado (2023) y fue un éxito instantáneo cuando cayó, encabezando varias listas del país. Elegí interpretar esta canción porque es muy maravillosa y te haría querer mover el cuerpo 💃🕺. El título de la canción es bastante controvertido ya que no tiene nada que ver con el significado de la canción. El Espíritu Santo es en realidad una entidad de la trinidad que es espiritual para los cristianos, por lo que tener ese título para una canción secular genera mucha controversia y preguntas por parte de los oyentes. Bueno, la canción no tiene absolutamente nada que ver con el evangelio. La canción básicamente
Simplemente incita a uno a bailar, hablando de una dama que se queda con él en las buenas y en las malas, dándole felicidad durante esa fase, y ella lo apoya en el último minuto. Ella le da energía y aumenta su confianza. El amor dicen que es ciego, pero él la ve y todo lo que ella hace para apoyarlo, para mejorarlo. Él está muy feliz y se siente bien por esto, qué otra manera de demostrar lo que siente que levantándose y bailando 😁.
