I trust we all are doing okay!. Without further ado, For this week I'd be covering a classic by English singer-songwriter "James Blunt" called "You're Beautiful".
You're beautiful talks about a guy stalking his ex and he's so full of regrets seeing her with another man. He realises he's lost a gem because she's so beautiful, he doesn't know what to do and he's so sad because he can never be with her anymore. He's so high, depressed and sad He lost her to another man he didn't know existed, so he keeps on looking at her and then he finally decides to face the truth which is the fact that He'll never be with her anymore 😢.
The song has been misconstrued to be a romantic song but the writer himself "James Blunt" says it isn't. The lyric You're beautiful, I saw an angel makes listeners believe it's a love song and it's even used in weddings, high school proms E.t.c due to the people thinking it's a love song but He wouldn't mind because the song became a global success and earned Blunt a lot of accolades.
This song was released in the year 2005 and it remains Blunt's biggest hit single in the United States to date, and his only one to reach the top 40 of the Billboard hot 100.
