YOU RAISE ME UP BY WESTLIFE/ COVERED BY SLEEMFIT✨. [ENG-ESP]

Hello music community, it's been a minute around here... I trust everyone is doing okay. Well today I'd be performing a classic by Irish pop group Westlife called "You raise me up". Although this song isn't originally Westlife's but was first recorded by Irish-norwegian band "Secret Garden". The song was made popular by American singer "Josh Groban" and also Westlife (2005). The version I'm more conversant with is Westlife's which is what I'd be performing for us today 😉. I've performed this song severally at events, but it's been a few years now since i performed it, one thing I love about this record is how solemn the instrumentation is, the orchestra and also the soul-lifting lyrics of the song. The song helps calm me down in the midst of the diverse trials and tribulations of this world, it gives me peace and hope 🤍.

The song “You raise me up” to the best of my knowledge portrays a strong theme in God and the message of power and strength through faith. The song shows the powerfulness of God, His sovereignty...He alone is capable of lifting us up when we're down and out, He does the seemingly impossible for us so we need not worry or be afraid 😊. God raises us up, all we need do is connect with Him, stand still and know that He is God. He alone is able to do all things, so cast your worries and burden unto Him, He cares. Hola comunidad musical, ha pasado un minuto por aquí... Confío que todos estén bien. Bueno, hoy estaría interpretando un clásico del grupo de pop irlandés Westlife llamado "You rise me up". Aunque esta canción no es originalmente de Westlife, sino que fue grabada por primera vez por la banda irlandesa-noruega "Secret Garden". He interpretado esta canción varias veces en eventos, pero ya han pasado algunos años desde que la interpreté, una cosa que me encanta de este disco es lo solemne que es la instrumentación, la orquesta y también la letra de la canción que levanta el alma. La canción me ayuda a calmarme en medio de las diversas pruebas y tribulaciones de este mundo, me da paz y esperanza 🤍.

La canción “Tú me levantas”, hasta donde yo sé, retrata un tema fuerte en Dios y el mensaje de poder y fortaleza a través de la fe. La canción muestra el poder de Dios, Su soberanía... Sólo Él es capaz de levantarnos cuando estamos abajo y afuera, Él hace lo que parece imposible por nosotros para que no debemos preocuparnos ni tener miedo 😊. Dios nos levanta, todo lo que necesitamos hacer es conectarnos con Él, quedarnos quietos y saber que Él es Dios. Sólo Él es capaz de hacer todas las cosas, así que deja tus preocupaciones y cargas en Él, Él se preocupa. Simplemente llévelo consigo porque uno con Dios es la mayoría.
