Symbolic Moveis of David Lynch

For those kids who were born in 80s and 90s. Yeah we are not kids anymore and those directors who used to make us think like Christopher Nolan does today are now not active in direction anymore. One such director that I remember is David lynch.

He had pretty surreal movies and used to touch on various symbolic themes which includes - time, subconscious, guilt, alternative reality, dreams and regret. Most common themes in his themes used to touch some of the themes like these.

Let's take a look at some of his symbolic movies.

Mullholand Drive

I am sure for those who watched this movie kind of got twisted with which ending was real and which was the dream or movie. It made me think that way too. It's the best of the David Lynch that you can see in the movies. He twists things without any use of the CGI in the movies. Mullholland Drive had a lot of subconscious theme in it. Which makes a lot of people among us think.

Lost Highway

I am the most confused while watching this movie of Lynch. I mean I was not sure if the end connects the start or the middle or the mix of both. It was however pretty much in depth explanation that I found later online which made me realize what was going on. It's that much mindfckd movie.

Inland Empire

This movie I am not going to spoil for you are basically just the mixture of chaotic events from the actresses life. So how they are connected and how they make sense while she is acting kind of connects the dots. But knowing it is the lynch's creation you can guess the rest. I am sure you would enjoy this movie too.

There are many other good creations of the lynch but 3 of them listed here are the one that made me get the feel of the lynch's content the most. Have you watched his movies? What was your experience?

Hi!

I haven't seen Inland Empire yet, but I love what Lynch does, always very different from the rest. Blue Velvet is pretty good too, and it's easier to understand, but my favorite is Mullholand Drive, I think it's the only movie that really made me feel a bit scared. Twin Peaks is a great series too, but I haven't seen the last season.
