Will 24 Jump Street is ever going to happen?? it looks like so, the last two movies spent so much energy mocking the idea of sequels that actually making a third one now is going to require real self awareness to pull off, I get why people want to see Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill back, but I am not sure lightning strikes three times on something this meta, the whole joke of those movies was that sequels are lazy cash grabs, so moving forward with another one kind of proves the point they were making, sometimes the smarter play is to just leave a joke where it landed rather than keep pushing it,
