Wednesday Walk - Warm then Really Cold
Just a few shots from walks this past week for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay

It was nice and warm with sunsets this past Friday. I was looking forward to seeing grass growing and the mushroom season.

But by Monday it looked like this... Cold blizzard out of nowhere.

It gets even colder in Chicago because of wind off the lake.

Thankfully it isn't subzero, just cold enough for snow. All the revelers for the dying of the river for St. Patrick's day got frozen. You can't even see the green very well in the river because of the gloom.

Just a random eagle that costs 80 bucks in an antique store. My daughter saw it and said Bald Eagle! She's learning birds via a pack of bird cards.

Later when it got less gloomy the river looks a bit more green now. Sadly I think something went wrong with the color this year... Seems a bit gross green looking.

You have to be careful walking around with thin snow like this on sidewalks. There is some black ice underneath all this stuff. I used to use yaktracks but now I just do a penguin waddle to avoid slipping.

Now us office drones can't sit out here on these fake rocks for lunch, way too cold.

Not nice milkweed plants yet either. Thankfully someone knew not to plant them yet.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
Wow what a beautiful varied happenings before the start of the midweek... sometimes weather becomes to unpredictable these days.. sometimes cold and sometimes warm
Thankfully it got warm again and we didn't enter a new ice age.
Thanks again @ewkaw :-)

That first photo is a nice one. I like the bald eagle and your young bird watcher calling it out 🙂
So far she likes the indigo buntings the best and still confuses hawks and owls a bit.
