Wednesday Walk - Summer is Over
Here are a few shots post Indian Summer for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay

It was super hot for an October day yesterday but now we are getting the chill hitting today. This morning's commuter pack seems unprepared for the coming freeze.

There are way less pigeons on the bridge control stations. Perhaps they are all huddling up in a building alley somewhere.

Fog and grayness is rolling in. The barge better get the supplies out before the project gets postponed for winter.

Quick shortcut across the road before the cars smash into us.

The fog is hiding the top of the Willis Tower. I think this is the second tallest building in the US?

Just a few looking up shots at the gray sky.

Soon it will be pitch dark when I arrive into the office and when I leave the office.

Gotta rush past the CME entryways as most the commuters are going to this building anyway lol.

Now back at home we have carved a greenman jackolantern. Sadly its nose already got eaten by a raccoon or a deer.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
It's still the Sears Tower, dammit! I'm not old. Shut up. Also, it has a higher occupied floor than that godawful One World Trade Center with its cheater spire!

Haha yeah right about when I moved here they changed it to Willis. Now we have the Hammond Bears to deal with.
Fun photos. I like the buildings disappearing in to the fog. The blank sky makes them seem to fade into infinity. The tallest building in Vermont is a church steeple in Rutland lol
Some days it can get so foggy only the first few stories of all the buildings are visible. There are some interesting photos of people going to the top floors and seeing all the other skyscrapers poking out of a blanket of fog. Though this photo looks like a helicopter one.

Cool photo. Sometimes you can hike above the clouds here and get that kind of shot looking down from a peak.
I miss the mountains, but in AZ we never got fog. Only place I saw fog from a mountain was in Glen Ellen CA.
