Wednesday Walk - Random Chores
Here are a few places I've been walking to for chores on this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay
We've been house hunting and this one's yard had a nice monarch in the yard. Sadly this house had issues with radon, womp. At least the butterflies aren't affected.
This little guy even followed me in the car. We let it out once we stopped at the next house.
Next we went shopping and I noticed some really expensive black trumpet mushrooms, this bag was like $25.
Now its time for a break. We went to a German restaurant for lunch and they had lots of hand carved wooden kookoo clocks.
Next up is an office outting to a rooftop restaurant in Chicago. They basically do cookout food and there are various games like beer pong and cornhole.
Next we had to drop off one of my cooworkers at his apartment. As it turns out his place is infested with pigeons lol. They coo around all night too.
One morning on my way to the train there was a nice sunrise in the sky.
Now today it is quite scary looking. Lets hope no tornados happen.
The lake walks are always happening and the boathouse looks nice in the evening. Soon its going to get too dark to take pictures.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
Beautiful walk. That's a scary cloud. Feels like in thea doomsday movie. 😆
Oh yeah I've been caught out in the rain when those clouds decide to burst. Then its a real life doomsday.
Very nice photos of your tour, greetings 👋
Thanks for looking :-)

hi dear friend @sketch.and.jam happy wednesday hike
A very interesting walk, you got beautiful shots of it, I loved that you found a livelula and a beautiful butterfly, excellent shot. Thank you very much for sharing this walking experience.
Ah so that's what that flower is called. It really seems to attract the butterflies, if we ever can find a house we'll need to plant lots of them.
What a very cool variety of images I love those cuckoo clocks
I hope no tornados formed
Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk :)
The tornadoes rarely form this high up in the state, in the south half of the state they are common. It will probably just downpour and flood people's basements.
same here very rare here but that said in the last couple of weeks we have had three tornados touch down within half an hour of us
They charge up in the open fields in Illinois, the more trees around the less chance they have to build up enough power.
Gotta cut back on buying black trumpets if you are gonna make that house payment work 😉 maybe I could supply you with some black trumpets but you are on your own on the mortgage payments
Haha yeah you could make a killing with those black trumpets, 25 bucks for just a handful lol. They seem even more expensive than the morels. If I go with the infested radon house then I could keep buying the trumpets...
I always thought the radon thing was overdone but then I don't have a young child to think of. They just want to sell you one of those little fans that suck the air out of the basement and keep the radon gas level from building up. Good luck with the house hunt. Its always fun but also stressful. Maybe a good recession will come along to drop interest rates 😁
Oomph yeah I'm not in a super rush to buy but the area I was looking at used to have a thorium processing plant that contaminated everything. So now I'm looking in entirely new areas.
In short, amazingly beautiful butterflies and flowers that you have photographed.
Thanks, that butterfly was too busy with the flower to care about me getting close.
Thanks @brumest :-)
