Wednesday Walk - Quest for Eclipse Photos
Here is a lunch break walk to look for a good viewing spot for the solar eclipse for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay
This first photo is from my wife where she was able to get the eclipse as a reflection in sunglasses.
This is via an Iphone through some cheap viewing glasses.
This is from a relative of mine with really good glasses in Arkansas where it did a full eclipse.
Here is a shot via my android through the cheap viewing glasses.
One of my coworkers tried seeing the eclipse by poking a hole through some cardboard and letting the sun shine through onto paper. It only kind of worked because the hole was not perfectly symmetrical lol.
All the office drones were out in the sunny spots trying to get a look at the eclipse too.
A street vendor could have made some big money selling eclipse themed treats to crowds like this.
The buildings were all in a strange gloomy shade and the eclipse arc kind of reflected off the sides.
I aimed my phone right at the sun and the lens flair showed the arc of the eclipse.
That's all for now, time to get back in the office and work. Eclipse is over now its time to hit the deadlines again.
How are you dear friend @sketch.and.jam good morning
How great that they were able to appreciate the eclipse from there and that they had the opportunity to take these beautiful shots.
Thank you very much for letting us know about these beautiful photographs and the unforgettable experience.
I forgot to bring my good camera with a polar lens on it, oh well in another 20 years I can see it again lol.
Excellent eclipse photos! It was an awesome experience!
It cast a strange light on everything. It was funny seeing all the sunspot areas in downtown filled with people.
so cool you got to see it I did through our house window but did not go out to photograph it
Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk
and Have a great day
Next time I have to be prepared with a polar lens filter on my good camera.
yeah I debated buying onem, but then with my luck of present the skies would have bene cloudy LOL
lol that dude at the front of that picture taking a selfie could be a model for some of your animations
We shut down and headed for totality like we did last time in 2017. I highly recommend it at least once in your life. The progression and photos through the glasses are just like what you saw but when totality hits and the glasses come off its magical. Otherworldly.
Office drones taking selfies would be a good concept for another animation. I guess the next eclipse is in Egypt, that would probably be epically packed with tourists and people waiting for the ancient gods to open up a portal above the great pyramid.
You got some good ones :) Nice to see so many people taking interest in nature 🙌
@enginewitty here are more eclipse pictures!
