Wednesday Walk - New Commute
I recently moved and have a longer commute for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay

This time I am a mile from the train station and get to walk through some rural areas.

Nice for seeing the sunrise and various nocturnal critters going to bed.

Thankfully I still ride the same line so no change in ticket fare.

Though now that I have a different station I now end up on a packed train.

I'm used to seeing the downtown station mostly abandoned. But now at this new time it is swarmed.

The ants go marching two by two hoorah hoorah.

And it is raining, thus all the umbrellas really clog up the bridges.

Thankfully there is a shortcut after the bridge to break out of the crowd.

Now back to my usual office. Still living out of boxes at home lol. Going to work feels like a vacation compared to shoving couches and beds around.
Thanks again @scrooger :-)

STOPLove the nature at the start of your commute. I'm sure you will enjoy it. We lived at the last station on the BART in the San Francisco Bay area. You could go all the way to the other end which was SFO but it was about an hour 40 minutes and you had to switch lines. It was much shorter to drive because you could cut across the south bay and didn't have to go through the city. Looks like the Metra trains reach out a lot farther. I never did a daily commute on BART mostly used it for sporting events to avoid the heavy traffic.
I remember taking the bart to get from uc berkeley to the airport with a connection or two. Whenever we want to visit chicago museums we end up taking the train fir traffic reasons, though we also have to take a bus.
Hahaha, the “ants go marching two by two” line got me 😂
I have to try and get video of the commuter march.
