Trippy Thursday - The Problem with Red Matter
Here are some rendering experiments in 3ds max and vray for this #trippythursday
A new element has been discovered. Given its red appearance scientists have dubbed it red matter.
There is great potential to harness its destructive energy. The problem is trying to keep it in a stable state.
Blasting it with harmonic frequencies seems to keep it stable and given the right frequency any sort of shape can be created. Once the sounds stop though, the red matter collapses and dusburses into dust.
Mixing it with Uranium tends to turn it into a blobby mess. It also increases the radiation levels by a factor of 1000. The scientists who performed this test were turned into shadows on the wall...
After the previous test's disaster the red matter has been placed inside lead shielding painted red to trick the red matter into staying contained inside.
The lead shielding begins to buckle. As it turns out the red matter hates being trapped.
Boom, the shielding has collapsed due to the red matter turning itself into sharp pyramid shapes.
Now that the scientists have pissed off the red matter it has become weaponized. It formed a central brain and is directing particles towards all opponents (the scientists studying it).
Each particle captures one of the scientists and slowly begins to meld with their biological form.
Now that the scientists have been assimilated the red matter can figure out who else to colonize. Fortunately most humans find these colonized himans repulsive and have started launching the colonized humans into space so they don't spread the red matter around...
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
Thanks again @ewkaw :-)
Sounds well alienated! 🍺 !BEER
The silly scientists thought it was a new element but it turned out to be a new lifeform.

.Hey @sketch.and.jam, here is a little bit of
BEER
from @qwerrie for you. Enjoy it!We love your support by voting @detlev.witness on HIVE .
Thats some creepy trippy stuff... the liquid red looks like blood
These are some single frames of animations that will eventually end up in a music video. Gotta figure out what kind of song goes with it.
