Trippy Thursday - Eyeball of Doom

Behold the eyeball of doom for this #trippythursday by @blacklux

If you stare into the eyeball of doom all your thoughts will be absorbed and you will be left with an empty mind.

For centuries the eye was hidden in a sarcophagus without any access to human thoughts. Then one day a student archaeologist busted through the air tight chamber and unleashed the power of the eye. At first no one noticed anything wrong with the student as they were just a non-paid graduate student adjunct professor. So a thoughtless demeanor seemed normal.

Meanwhile the eye was turning its first power that it absorbed into antigravitational energy so it could fly to a more populated area to feed.

It warped over to the nearest city and began absorbing millions of thoughts. This left the urban zones filled with mindless zombies, again no one noticed as this seemed normal for most cities.

Now that the eye has enough energy it is compressing the power into a pupa form so it can transform into a terrifying conglomeration.

The cocoon shell is hardening and soon the eye will emerge as a new form.

Kaboom it has hatched and now can teleport to any location on the earth to absorb thoughts and leave mindless zombies in its wake.

Eventually the eye will run out of thoughts to ingest and the only ones who can defeat it will be the blind. They will have to band together and lock it into another sarcophagus and rebuild civilization again. Perhaps one day a scientist will be able to invent sunglasses that will keep the eye from absorbing thoughts out of your irises.
