Here's a nit of Marilyn Manson for this #threetunetuesday by @ablaze
Of course here is his most famous song Beautiful People. This hit my middle school by storm back in the day lol. Everyone felt so rebellious listening to it.
This cover of Sweet Dreams originally by Eurythmics might have brought back memories from the 80s to bratty teenage late 90s goths. It is also the easiest song in the world to play on guitar.
Coma White is another easy song to learn on guitar that always gets stuck in my head. Probably one of the more well composed songs by Marilyn Mansion.
I'll have to do a post about the guitarist John 5 and all the bands he's been in with his elaborate telecaster collection.

All the covers he did could fill up a few posts. I'll have to look up his cover of that song to refresh my memory.
Listened and introduced to this musician by my sons, two songs I always enjoyed is The Beautiful People and Sweet Dreams. His book "The Long Hard Road" an amazing insight into his outlook on life, many did not understand him which he where he explained quite a bit.
I think I remember seeing an interview about that book way back when.
Very unique individual, each has a story normally carried through songs, the words reminders of whence they came.

A lot of outrageous costume for such simple music. Lol did you hear about Alice Cooper getting canceled recently by his makeup sponsor? Ad agencies and esg scores these days are canceling the yesteryear's edgy guys for the new woke religion.
I'm a fairweather fan of Alice Cooper. His shows are pretty cool and he's had some hits. A big presense in culture thats honestly unavoidable lol I still love the lyric "I got no friends cause the read the paper, they can't be seen........with me" the pause is perfect. It took me a while to understand back in the day before lyrics were so easy to get online. I remember reading liner notes on vinyl albums 🤦♂️

Never really knew his music growing up to be honest, but he has an interesting sound, albeit not for everybody. The sweet dreams cover is excellent.
