Three Tune Tuesday - Theatrical Black Metal

Here is some super nerdy theatrical black metal for this #threetunetuesday by @ablaze

The first band is Behemoth and this song is called The Deathless Son. Theatrical black metal is characteristic of double kick drums, dissonant guitars, screeching vocals and lots of night elf costumes lol.

Here is Cradle of Filth with Her Ghost in the Fog. This one surprisingly got lots of radio play, mostly on internet radio. The singer has a strange way of making his voice crack that sounds awful at first listen then eventually it kind of grew on me like an ear virus lol.

Here is Dimmu Borgir with their most well known song Progenies of the Great Apocalypse. This is super nerdy with opera singing and Harry Potteresque symphonies in the background wrapped up in spikes, face paint and pentagrams flying everywhere lol.

This whole genre is hard to take seriously without laughing. Its like orcs and rock trolls decided to form a band and look as evil as possible while trying to be as metal as possible with classical music in the background.

That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)

With this choice of music I am thinking you love horror movies. 😅

Haha I used to blast this stuff in the back office, fortunately everyone was into metal except for the front office that played lady gaga mainstream stuff.
