Squirrel Sunday - Hoarding Walnuts
Looks like its #squirrelsunday again
They are all on a mad dash looking for acorns and walnuts before winter hits. Most are in a scrambling blur to acquire more than the next squirrel.
This blurry guy managed to get two in its mouth. The trick will be guarding them from the other squirrels who want to steal them.
Zoom off it goes to try and stash them in a safe area. Squirrels aren't terribly good at remembering all their stash areas so they usually end up planting a few trees each year.
This one is quietly observing the other squirrels below. Perhaps it is keeping track of all the stashes in its mind for easy harvesting later.
The life of a criminal squirrel is definitely easier. It can just collect cigarettes from the human's ashtrays and then steal the other squirrels' stashes.
This one sees how everyone loses their stash.
Perhaps it can just avoid theft by eating every acorn and walnut it comes across.
Ooomph my belly is getting full but I'd best keep fattening up for the winter.
Little does the fat squirrel know the hawk is keeping any eye on him from a distance... He better be able to run fast while being fat at the same time.

Yup! But they are getting too fat to run very fast. So the squirrels are having a good time in my garden! I saw four different colours! The usual gray ones, some red squirrels, a few white ones and some kind of orange colour too. They are having a good time with digging through the coconut for the juice and coconut meat!
