Squirrel Sunday - Close Encounters

The squirrels are back for another #squirrelsunday

Agent Fox Squirrel Mulder has noticed lights in the sky and is definitely sure there are aliens abducting people in the area.

His partner Dana Squirrly assures him that aliens don't exist and he should look to more scientific explanations for the lights in the sky.

Look there is radioactive burn residue on this branch. Surely their craft passed by here.

Herb the local conspiracy theorist verifies that he was abducted and taken aboard a mother ship for study. The tests were too horrific to describe.

Upon additional questioning and a toxin screening agent Squirrly determined that Herb ingested an Amanita Muscaria the night before so of course he saw all kinds of crazy stuff. Just don't tell my boss man muttered Herb.

Agent Fox is still looking for evidence. Perhaps he will finally find some definitive proof and tell the world about the threats of an alien invasion.

Suddenly all the birds stopped chirping and even the human cars in the background went silent. A low hum and whirring sound permeated the air. Are they coming back? Will I finally see the truth?

Agent Fox felt himself levitating off the ground and he began to pass out as his vision faded away.

Agent Squirrly just came back from the lab to tell Fox about an ergot infestation in the area that causes mass hallucinations. But he was nowhere to be found.

Three hours later agent Fox was discovered groggy and disheveled muttering nonsense. Squirrly I've seen them, this time for real look there's one over there!

The ergot has not worn off yet and to agent Fox this thing looked like a large eyed gray alien. Fred the mantis is unaffected by the ergot and wonders why all the mammals were freaking out at him. I'm just trying to eat my flies and lay an egg sac here eventually why you all accusing me of being an alien? The squirrels still tell stories of Fred secretly being an alien.
