Aww the little baby chickens are cute, so many at one time. Is the large bowl with sand for them to take dust baths in?

No,the bowl is just for moving them from the brooding space to the large space.The dust are on the floor surface which is called litter materials which serves as an intermediary between the chicks legs and the surface of the floor.
The dust
(Litter materials) is necessary because when it's messed up it will be easy for me to pack and dispose it and replace the floor surface again with a new fresh dust. When the dust is new that is when the birds usually bath in the dust. I don't have the pictures but I will show you later. Thanks @sketch.and.jam
