Fungi Friday - More Phallic Mushrooms
Here are three different white mushrooms for this #fungifriday by @ewkaw

Look at this strange looking fella lol. My wife said it looked quite nasty.

Quite a few were growing in the grass and I'm still stumped on its ID. I've never seen these in field guides.

Here's one that got the Lorena Bobbit treatment by a lawnmower.

I found another one that got its head lopped off. The crackled cap seems to be a unique feature. Seems to possibly be in the amanita family.

I took a look at the gills and notice they are white and symmetrical. Now I have to keep searching for an ID on these strange phallic mushrooms.

Here is a more familiar white mushroom growing on a lawn.

An upskirt photo reveals pink gills and a stem veil.

Large white mushroom with a stem veil and pink gills is a tell tail sign of a meadow mushroom. The only other thing to check is to pinch the cap to see if it stains yellow. If no yellow staining occurs then its definitely a meadow mushroom a nice edible if only it was growing in nonchemical treated grass I would have harvested it.

Now for another white lawn mushroom. I suspect this might be a horse mushroom aka
Agaricus arvensis.

It also has pink gills but this one was a tiny bit smaller.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
Happy #fungifriday! and a !PIZZA
I just went out again today and there were all sorts of mushrooms growing. The fall season has arrived and now I'm making some lasagne with giant puffball mushrooms.

Haha! I can't help agree with your wife, that mushroom looks really nasty😀 however, the last mushroom photo looks really amazing
Haha I know I still need to figure out its latin name somehow. I found loads more mushrooms today some new ones I've never even seen before.
Nice shots. So many white mushrooms, so little time
They are such a pain to ID. I know I've seen the fat stem one somewhere in a field guide. Just can't quite remember its name.
