Ramen Hopping : Eat Ramen at One of The Authentic Ramen Restaurants in Town

A few days ago I came back to this ramen restaurant again. This is one of the authentic ramen restaurants in the middle of the city. With a strategic location and also Japanese-style decor with red ornaments in front of the entrance, this restaurant is the hallmark of this restaurant.

This is my second time coming here. This ramen shop provides a menu of various kinds of ramen and coffee, as the name implies, namely Orizuru Ramen & Coffee.

The first time I came here, I ordered the chicken katsu curry ramen. One portion is very large, with a fairly large bowl. I think one portion is enough for two people. This Curry Ramen is made from Japanese Authentic Curry which emphasizes the taste of curry which is thick and rich in spices.

This chicken katsu curry ramen has a typical Japanese curry taste which has a thick, soft, rich sauce with spices and tastes very good. One serving of this curry ramen comes with vegetables such as carrots and potatoes, just like Japanese curry in general. The texture of the noodles is also soft, thick, and chewy but not too big. For the chicken katsu, the outside texture is crunchy and crispy but the inside is still soft and tender. The chicken meat is juicy and the spices also seep into the chicken meat. I love the combination of curry ramen with the chicken katsu.

And for the second time I came, I ordered Spicy Miso Ramen. Because I want to try another menu. The spicy miso ramen is so delicious. Spicy miso ramen is made from a mixture of chili sauce with fermented Japanese rice and soybeans. So the taste of Spicy Miso ramen is more complex because of its unique mixture. I think the taste of this spicy miso ramen soup is rich in spices, savory, and light. For the level of spiciness it is not spicy anymore for me. Even though in this photo it looks like the sauce is red, but for me this Spicy Miso Ramen is not spicy. But don't worry, this restaurant provides additional chili powder or chili slices on each table, so those who feel it's not spicy enough can add according to their taste.

One serving of Spicy Miso Ramen is also very large. The portion and bowl are the same as the Curry Ramen earlier. One serving of Spicy Miso Ramen is equipped with eggs, tofu, mushrooms and nori, and don't forget chicken katsu.
Actually, we can choose the complement between chicken chasu, which is grilled chicken meat or chicken katsu, which is crispy fried chicken. But I chose chicken katsu only, because I like chicken katsu with ramen. Overall the taste of these two ramens is very good. And for the drink I ordered Honey lemon Tea.

Coupled with the atmosphere of a comfortable place. This place has two areas, indoor and outdoor. This is how the indoor area looks like. Dominated by brown and grey colour and with some unique chandelier.

I chose to sit in the outdoor area because the place is quiet and cool, and also a lot of green leaves. The atmosphere is very comfortable. It's perfect to come in the afternoon and sit in the outdoor area enjoying ramen accompanied by a cool breeze that adds to the enjoyment of eating ramen.

I think I will come here again to try other ramen menus because so far I really like the taste of ramen from this restaurant.
