BICENTENNIAL OF THE KINGDOM OF HAWAII.....π
This 1995 Gold and Silver coin set commemorates the 200th Anniversary of the Hawaiian islands coming together under one flag.
Bernard Von Nothaus is the Mintmaster from the Royal Hawaiian Mint.
The History behind this set is fascinatingπ
These "Unification" coins are a tribute to King Kamehameha's struggle to unify the Hawaiian islands. This was a 13 year struggle....
Many say that he is the father of his people, and when he sailed to Oahu he had 800 specially built canoes, and 16,000 men with him.
In peace time he introduced many new innovations, and will forever be remembered by his people.
The Sovereign Proof Set......
With King Kamehameha on the Obverse we have an eight ounce .999 fine Silver Sovereign.......'Ewalu Mo'I
Then we have the one ounce .999 fine Silver......Akahi Mo'I
Finally we have the quarter ounce .9999 fine Gold Soverign....Hapaha Mo'I
This minting was limited to 1,000 sets, and this set is numbered 197.
Now the Reverse......

The one ounce .999 fine Silver Sovereign
The quarter ounce .9999 fine Gold Sovereign
I hope you enjoyed this post.....
Stack your precious metals for your future, to take care of your family.......Just like King Kamehameha protected his Hawaiian familyπ
