Some projects I really enjoy, and then there are those projects!………..😳
Silvertop started one today, hanging a new garage door!
This is a custom door installation, it will be a low headroom double overhead track garage door!
When it’s completed Lol!😇
The manual states……
“ installation of this kit should be done by a person with reasonable mechanical aptitude!”
Silvertop is very mechanical, that’s a good thing, because I very quickly realized I needed to follow not one instruction manual, but two manuals ……..side by side Lol!😲
The first manual takes you through several pages. Then the second has you remove parts you just installed, recut and re-drill several metal parts!😮
I pushed through till 3:30 and decided Silvertop needed a hike!😇
The weather forecast is sunny, with blue skies going forward to the weekend!😎
When I returned back home I found Christmas at our driveway gate Lol!🤗
I wonder if someone sent Silvertop some of that “Bitcoin” in one of those packages Lol!!🤣
I just hope it doesn’t come with an instruction manual!😇

I think you need more than mechanical aptitude Lol.... Today I was following instructions and told me to replace the bottom wheel brackets. the very next page told me "Do Not" replace the bottom wheel brackets.....Lol!😁
Sounds a bit more complicated than Ikea 😁
It's definitely time consuming, the sad thing is once I finally finish I could probably put one up in half the time! It's meticulously reading all those instructions Lol!!😀
You have the technical skills that you can do the garage door by yourself.
I noticed the solar power panels. Isn't that expensive there?
Prices have come way down so they're cheaper now. Also I was an electrician so that cuts the cost down!😀
I see. Solar panels and installation remains expensive here. We almost don't have the choice because electricity cost is still high. There must be corruption within the electric cooperative.

Most of the time you really don't have any maintenance with solar panels. If you have batteries that store your electricity there is definitely maintenance there, because the batteries don't last forever and they need to have water added....😀
Yeah. I'm looking out on solar power posts in social media because the electric company service is annoying. There are some negative comments on it.
That's too bad solar does actually very well and where you are at it probably would do excellent maybe in the future sometime!😀
