Wednesday Walk in My Bit of Paradise Past: Part 7

I invite you for a very brief walk in the backyard of my paradise past. Well, its not really a walk. We will stand in one place! Let us go up this path.


I love roses.
I've propagated a lot of them.


I'd take a cutting from a rose bush.
Then grow it into a whole new rose bush!


The rose cutting must be a stem from a healthy plant.


It can be rooted in a growing medium.
Then grow it into an independent plant of its own.


I planted them on the ground where ever I feel like it.



In the next episode of A Bit of Paradise Past, I will bring you around the yard of my first home which sits in a third of an acre lot.

I used to grow roses when we lived in Ohio. In Colorado, they were pretty much an annual and usually didn't survive the bitter cold. Here, they get black mold spots and aphids, so it's a losing battle, at least in my yard as full sun for most of the day is somewhat absent. But I remember the ones I grew......thanks for sharing sis!🤗😘💕🌸

A view that can relieve stress. The smell of roses and the beauty of this flower makes anyone who sees it will like it. anw, in my house no one grows roses, can i ask you for the seeds? hehehe

Your are right it truly is a paradise
You clearly have a green thumb growing all those roses

My dad was a great gardener lived both his vege and flower gardens your post today made me think of him and brought back nice memories

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :), I truly enjoy exploring the world virtually each Wednesday seeing walks from all around the globe and feeling I am there and experiencing it all myself, such as I did in your post just now :)

It is really a paradise, the rose bushes with a bunch of bloomed roses and the fragrance of the garden are enjoyable and worthy to spend time there. I love such kind of garden to spend my afternoon with a cup of herbal tea :D
