When it comes to fractional silver, the best silver to buy are halves, quarters and dimes U.S. Constitutional silver.

Benjamin Franklin 90% Silver Half Dollar was minted from 1948 until 1964. Franklin's right-profile portrait was created by mint engraver John R. Sinnock.

The reverse side of the Franklin Half Dollars depicts the Liberty Bell, an iconic landmark of Franklin's hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The small American bald eagle in found on the right of the Liberty Bell as stipulated by U.S. laws.

Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Franklin D. Roosevelt, all presidents were depicted in coins. Ben Franklin is the fifth person and first non-president to be honored by the issuance of a regular-issue United States coin.

Benjamin Franklin was born January 17 1706, Boston, Massachusetts and died April 17, 1790, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was an American printer and publisher, author, inventor and scientist, and diplomat. One of the foremost of the Founding Fathers, Ben Franklin helped draft the Declaration of Independence and was one of its signers. He represented the United States in France during the American Revolution, and was a delegate to the Constitutional Convention.

He made important contributions to science, especially in the understanding of electricity, and is remembered for the wit, wisdom, and elegance of his writing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rVHhEXCUOY

Regardless of condition, Canadian Voyager dollars now have an extra premium, $1 more per dollar Face value, over the equivalent of the minor circulated silver coins. That is halves, quarters, dimes. That's the latest pricing at my local coin store now. Constitutional silver is hot!

Always, with love 🤗🌺❤️

A chestful of big coins is fun to have. I'd consider halves as large coins. 💛

Me too, halves are large coins to me... halves and dollars.
But our circulating dollar coins today are the size a quarter, did you know?

I have a few of these dollars and they are small.
The bronze color mimics the color of 'gold' as if it adds the illusion of value.
We know better.
1987 saw our Canadian Nickel Dollar become a similar bronze colored coin to save on metal weight and cost to produce. Same illusion.

My internet has been terrible for more than two weeks now. This week I have not been able to post anything, nor to get into discord, so much that I like to share there. It entertained me a lot and lowered my stress, I will try between tomorrow or the day after tomorrow to post something. I already told myself to be patient and calm, I don't want to get sick. With the data or with the weak signal that I get at least I can read a little and comment, but this has me a little discouraged. I am doing what I can, but with faith that everything will get better.

I ask God to put his hand in so many situations that we live, I am not the only one with all these problems, I have seen many fellow hivers touching on various topics of the problems they have, especially with the Internet.

Thank you for asking, my friend, and for being attentive. I appreciate it very much. Hugs @silversaver888 🧚🐦💕😘🥰💖

I love them, I used to buy them instead of Eagles years ago. I remember when they were only 10 times face value.

Do you think the prices will ever go back?
I like circulated silver coins

I think they will disappear, waiting for the reset with real money issued by the treasury.

Whatever happened to that coin guy that used to go on about the change being the only real money?

I remember going to the bank about 10+ years ago and ordering a box of these. We were hoping to find silver amongst the regular clad fifty cent pieces. We did find a few, but not what we were hoping for. The bank did not want to take them back and I remember paying for merchandise at Walmart with them. The cashier, who was a woman in her 50's at the time, did not even know what a fifty cent piece, was! I had to tell her the denomination! I was shocked! Good thing I'm an honest person😇😇😇

Thanks for sharing sis! !LADY🤗😘💞🌸

Hahaha, you wouldn't be any other but honest, sis!
Now they don't have any in the bank at all!
I always ask for 50 cent and $1 Ike coins... they don't have any!
Hugs and kisses, sis 🤗❤️😘
