Rotwell's Reflect, Episode 7 - Splinterlands
LOW-MANA REFLECT
I usually have some higher-level monsters when I use my magic-reflect Death Splinter strategy but due to the Little League condition in this battle's rule set, I had to come up with a different line of monsters who were both low-mana, low speed, and had enough health to reflect magic. The team I went with was Animated Corpse, Shadowy Presence, Dark Ferrymen, and Cursed Slimeball. Unfortunately, my opponent didn't go for a magic team at all even though Water Splinter was available. Instead they went with Cerberus with Heal, Kobold Miner with Sneak, and Serpentine Spy with Opportunity.
After Round 1, I lost Cursed Slimeball pretty fast but I placed him there as more of a buffer anyway.
After Round 2, Serpentine Spy had knocked out Shadowy Presence pretty fast since their Opportunity ability targeted the lowest-health monster which was Shadow Presence.
In the end, Animated Corpse proved to be a lot hardier than I expected so him and Dark Ferrymen took down Kobold Miner and Serpentine Spy purely because they had more health.
I won 19 Rating and almost 10 Dark Energy Crystals from this battle.
