The Amazing Bortus & Torhilo

Bortus: You shall not ... magic!

Torhilo Machine: 0 Magic goes in, 4 Melee comes out.

• While using a Magic Reflect team with Death Splinter's Owster Rotwell can be very satisfying while watching your opponent destroy themselves with their own attacks, it requires that some monsters sacrifice themselves or survive what can be a pretty heavy onslaught of enemy magic attacks. On the other hand, there's Bortus and Torhilo who when paired with Djinn Oshannus can result in your opponent's magic attacks doing absolutely zero to Torhilo and Oshannus which is also great to watch.

  Summoner - Bortus - Reduced enemy magic.
  
  1st Position - Torhilo the Frozen - Void ability - Reduces enemy magic directed at this monster.
  
  2nd Position - Sea Genie - Flying ability - Increased chance to evade enemy melee & ranged attacks
  
  3rd Position - Djinn Oshannus - Void ability - Reduces enemy magic directed at this monster.
  
  4th Position - Venari Wavesmith - Protect ability - All ally monsters get +2 Armor.
  
  5th Position - Axe Master - Double Strike ability - Attack twice.
  
  Last Position - Pirate Archer - Blast ability - Additional reduced damage to enemies adjacent to your target.

• This ended up being the perfect battle for my team-- water vs water, but it's my anti-magic versus my opponent's magic-focused team. All my monsters survived the fight and it was basically an all-out slaughter of the enemy monsters.
