Anti-Magic Life Legion, Episode 1 - Splinterlands
THE GOLEM & THE WOLF
Even though this post is called Anti-Magic Life Legion, today's legion is pretty small -- only two monsters: Clay Golem and Crystal Werewolf. While Water Splinter was available in the rule set, the mana-cap was a measly 12 and I didn't see any Djinn Oshannus or other stronger magic monsters in my opponent's recently played so I went with an anti-magic Life Splinter team. Thanks to Clay Golem's Void ability and Crystal Werewolf's Silence, enemy magic attacks would be reduced twice. In this case, all of my enemy's magic monsters would be doing zero damage to Clay Golem -- except for Cockatrice who has 1 melee damage.
If it weren't for the enemy Ice Pixie's 3 Speed, I would've had a perfect game since she knocked out my Clay Golem's Divine Shield from my Life Splinter summoner Lorna Shine -- but that didn't change the inevitable which was Clay Golem demolishing the entire team.
I earned 19 Rating and 6 Dark Energy Crystals from this battle.
