A Multitude of possible future timelines.

— As the #nolosslottery grows and token prices change in the current market, I think it’s important to point out the possible variants of the #nolosslottery in the future.

Stablecoin variant

  • One version of the nolosslottery would be a stablecoin pair.
  • I currently lean towards HBD-BUSD in Cubfinance and HBD-USDC on Polycub.
  • This would provide the advantage of stablecoin safety, in terms of preserving the value of your assets. But smaller interests earnings the volatile token pairs.

Cub variant.

  • This variant would allow you to save you Cub in a Cub only vault, and earning would occur solely based in the interest rate.
  • ‘Cub den, Cub Kingdom, and something new is coming soon.

Hive variant

  • This is a Hive hodling account, possibly Hive-Cub, or H9ve-HBD.
  • ‘This would allow hodling of hive tokens and earning of prizes.

These changes in the #nolosslottery would be very exciting, and potentially would bring in new depositors. I was hoping to see something different on your road map. Something that embraces decentralization and security more. Your a good guy and all, but this lottery requires trust. It would be great of you figured out how to remove trust from the equation. Cryptographic security means nothing if you have to send your tokens to someone else's wallet.

You ask a very good question. One of the huge issues in cryptocurrency is that many financial tools require trust. Projects like Thorchain are a breakthrough because they eliminate the trust factor in token trading.

I am unsure but I believe the nolosslottery deals with LEO and I wonder if there is a need for the variants? What would adding these variants add to the project?

Good question.
Some people on Hive don’t have Leo to deposit in the lottery. They only have Hive, so they would prefer to deposit Hive.
Now while I accept Hive deposits, and trade them for Leo, I am exploring whether people would prefer to Hodl Hive.
