Hive Business Directory:

A topical listing of businesses providing goods or services on Hive, and businesses which accept Hive or Hive Dollars (HBD). Version Two.

This is a list of Businesses on Hive which is arrange by use case, so if you need a product or service look under a topic like retail, advertisement or restaraunts.
The primary or initial purpose is to advertise businesses on Hive or businesses which accept Hive or Hive Dollars for goods and services.
An additional use case is to use the contact information to provide Feedback, offer Mentoring and seek Employment.

Examples:

Advertising: looking for help Advertising your goods or services? Find a company on Hive to help you.
Photos: Need cool pictures for your post? Use a company on Hive that specializes in free photos!

Hive Business Center:

The purpose of the Hive Business Center is to build a digital directory of all businesses on Hive, and real world businesses accepting Hive.
It is my hope that the directory will ultimately provide Recognition, Feedback, Mentoring and Employment.
Recognition: by provide an alphabetical list of businesses on Hive.
Feedback: provide forum and infrastructure for customers to talk to owner operators.
Mentoring; other business owners can provide tips to others owners to help grow their business.
Employment; offer your skills; business owners need people with skills, so if you think you have skills a business needs contact them here or through their links.

Would Hive Business Center also include businesses which accept HIVE or HBD as payments? Say, a section devoted for "HIVE Accepted Here"? Or is that better left for a separate directory or service? I'm only asking to get some clarity.

Other such businesses must exist on Hive blockchain; I only know about this one just because of the odd combination of restaurant location, my own geography (off-limits to me), and food served.

What a great idea! I would love to see Dpoll and Cent projects in the list as well, so that people can find out more about them. These are my favorite projects because they've been doing amazing work for Hive. Would you be willing to add Dpoll.io and centblog.org?

Yes, you probably did. Dpoll is a Hive-based polling system. It's great for online polls and surveys. We use it all the time at our community for voting on contests, and other stuff that has to be voted on by everyone. Currently we're having an election for the contest winners and all votes go through this site. The owner is @emrebeyler
Cent is a tribe project such as palnet or leofinance. Their goal is to fix the price of Cent at 1 cent per token. The owner is @anadolu he is the one of the old members who came back after the fork. Maybe they can help if you need some more information. 🙂

The pictures are distracting.
They interrupt the flow of the directory, making it hard to use.
You should focus on easy to use.
Use headers to cleanly indicate letter, subjects under letters and subjects. Less is better.
Add a separate section for pictures.

Consider HBC token.
It costs one HBD
It provides financial support for project because project can invest the HBD for income.
But you can sell it anytime you need your money back. Token always for sale on Hive Engine.

Purpose: The token provides financial support for Hive Business Center.

The Token costs one HBD.
The token can always be sold for one HBD in Hive Engine.
But OTC sales could be arranged
Build buy wall in Hive-Engine buying for 1 HBD and sell wall for one HBD.
