Market Friday: Purchasing fairly used shoes

#marketfriday as initiated by @dswigle . Thanks for the wonderful initiative.
Today, I decided to get another shoe for office wear. I am someone that loves and appreciates heel shoes alot. Since I got pregnant till now that I am nursing my baby, I couldn't wear my heels anymore. Infact most of the heels I have at home has damaged due to storing for a long time without usage. Now, I go on flat shoe or wedge which are more comfortable. I couldn't afford to buy new shoes considering the high prices of things now. I decided to go for fairly used shoe. I saw a shop at muritala market where different varieties of fairly used shoe can be bought.

I searched and finally got one with low wedge and exactly my size.

There's no fixed price on the shoe, so the price can be negotiated. The seller told me to pay #2500 approximately $5 but later bought it for #1500 = $3. I wished to buy more but don't have much money with me.
Thanks for visiting my blog.

I truly understand about heels and pregnanacy! I love my heels, but, again, to be honest they are not good for your feet. The pointed ones pinch your toes inward and the high one will make you back hurt when you are old and grey! :)

I think you did the right thing and I am so glad that you found a store that will work for you and your finances. Everything the world over has gone up so much! It is unbelievable~
Thanks so much for joining the #MarketFriday challenge!

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through by their markets, especially local markets and farmers markets and eventually branching out and evolving over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact of what is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:
