HELLO HIVE

It's not an easy thing to be broke, it's really frustrating and can be so disappointing... even though am not where I wish to be yet am happy am not where I was some years back.
Poverty can make one loose one's sense of reasoning, it can also cause a low self esteem whereby you start seeing yourself as being inferior.

After I graduated from the University and after completing my one year mandatory service... That was when i understood life the more, I found myself in a very disapointing situation as all channels that I do get money from stopped, channels like my monthly allowance, and some little little cash for pocket money, I was left alone to face life squarely.

As at that time, there was no means to get money, I was totally broke, there are times I would need to go out but I have to collect some money for transport fare from my parent it was so bad to that extent. Imagine that Kind of situation, It was a big shame for me, I was like why will I have to spend all those years in school and still end up begging for some little things like transport fare and the likes. It is also common here that when people see that you're a graduate they will expect you to be able to feed yourself and do virtually all things by yourself they don't care to know how you'll do it they just believe you're now a grown up man, so you must be fine by default. Hmm so weird.

I have to change my situation, I have to get out of poverty... on this note, I started looking for all means by which I can secure a job, not minding how little the pay might be, I just want to be earning something at least, and so luckily but not so lucky I got a private school job... hmm could that be a n answer to my prayer?

For anyone that has worked or is presently teaching in a private school would know what it means to teach in a private school.. The experience is not a funny one at all. It's a very stressful kind of work, I would go to work as early as 7:30am and come back around 6:00pm normally we close by 4:00pm but I do take extra class with some students in order to compliment my salary.

After doing the job for some months, luckily for me there was a recruitment of a government teaching job I was fortunate enough to be among those that were selected. With the government job I saw the big difference between teaching in a government school and teaching in a private school, the difference is clear, Government job is far more preferable.

Few months to when I got my new job, a friend of mine named @vickoly introduced me to Hive... at first I taught it was not real based on my experience with some Ponzi schemes but after a while here I saw how real and reliable the platform is even though it was not easy at first but with his support I was able to stand even till now.

And now am so grateful I am here on Hive, it has been one of the best if not the best thing that has happened to me.
I am happy that I could get out of disappointment and reproach of poverty via this great platform.
Have also being privileged to meet great people via this platform.

Note: The picture uploaded is mine, I took it with my phone camera.
