Greetings friends readers and art lovers, today I bring you a second piece of a series of watercolor paintings that I am doing with an interesting combination of portraits and animals... I have not yet thought about what to call it but at the moment it seems quite interesting :)

For this piece I was taking as the main character the deer, which protects with its big antlers the portrait of a girl, which I made using the same technique I'm learning, which consists of plotting all the shadows and circular figures for the lights. I don't really know if it is a technique but the result really catches my attention.

As you already know the process I start by making a portrait which I build little by little from the eyes to the contour of the face and finally the hair, then above the face I incorporate the head of the deer applying something similar with the lights and shadows but not so intense since it is supposed to have hair and the light is not appreciated the same as in the face, after that I apply little by little layers of color until I achieve the tone that I want with the watercolor I also apply the same technique for the deer, at the end I gave the silhouette of very diluted green color and a little more intense green closer to the figures, in this way I also added with a fine tip marker a little lines in the eyelashes, eyebrows and in the places where I thought I would need it, I leave the process so you can appreciate it in more detail.
